Art Marketing 101
with Mary Gail King

Have you ever wondered how you could take your fine art or other home based business to the next level?

Do you think marketing is a mysterious thing that only certain people can do?

Have you ever wished you could grow your art business but don’t know where to start?

Join Mary-Gail King, Art Marketing Expert for this half day 4 hour intensive workshop where you will set measurable goals for your art business and target action steps you can take you take to get you to the next level. Get valuable tips on how to: Define your customers; Create Powerful Press Releases; Create new tools to get your message out effectively.

Materials:
This will be an intensive working session so bring pen, notebooks and your current marketing materials such as newsletters, postcards and business cards if you have them.  Come prepared to network with you fellow artists!  Bring a list of current art organizations you are a member of with your web site information.  If you don’t have these things DON’T WORRY!  You’re in the right place.  Let’s get started!

Demystifying the Digital Camera

Photography is drawing with light. Your tools are a camera and lens. The first step is to know your camera. This class will go through the basic functions and settings of a digital camera. Photography  vocabulary and the basic rules of composition.
