Color drives my brush to record the full palette of nature’s rainbow. The translucency of watercolor reflects the layers of beauty in a flower, a leaf or a sunset. The shadows cast from my subjects add dimensions that vary from hour to hour. My multimedia collages, with their looseness of composition, are the perfect counterpoint to my realistic floral works. My art papers give me an almost infinite variety of hue and texture.
I received my BFA at Pratt Institute in New York. I am a signature member of the Gold Coast Watercolor Society and the Buenaventura Art Association. My original works and limited edition prints are found in art collections around the country and have been accepted to and won awards in many juried shows.
