sponsored by SAMY's Santa Barbara, the Image Source Ventura, and Schaf Photo
Winners Exhibited October 13 through 20, 2007 at the Ventura Harbor Village Gallery
Awards Reception 6-8pm Saturday October 13
Vision, talent, luck, 3 weeks, and a roll of film.
We'll give you the film, process the film, judge the film, print the film, hang the prints, promote the show, and have a reception...
all you have to do is shoot a photograph good enough to be named TOP PHOTOG!
Let's see what happens when we level the playing field...
No Photoshop. No Hasselblads. No high-speed films. No dodging or burning. No waiting for the perfect sunset. No digital screen to ape at. No cross-processing. No infrared. No sepia toning. No push-processing. No Polaroids. No WIPs. No super-saturated slide films. No sitting in a duck blind for three months waiting for a duck to do something photogenic. No signing away your copyright to be in a show. No theme. No Do-Overs.
We give you a roll of film, you fill it with light, you give it back, and we all see what ends up on the gallery wall.
