The watercolor paintings by Fillmore, California artist, Luanne Perez, are bright and colorful. They depict recognizable scenes in Ventura County and views showing her love of Europe. Luanne creates her own versions especially of beautiful Italy, France and Austria. She finds success in painting Florals. She often begins her paintings on site and later completes her unique views in her home studio.
Luanne Perez has painted with well-known local artists and several international artist/teachers. Her decorative arts training and sense of composition has made her art appealing to those who see her work. She was educated at University of California at both Santa Barbara and Davis campuses as a secondary school teacher of vocational arts. She is continually moved to create images of the wonderful things she sees, feels and experiences.
