Jan graduated from Moorpark College in 2004 with an A.S. Degree in Interior Design. (Her previous AA was in Drama in 1971.) She is presently Gallery Assistant for Harbor Village Gallery.
Beside her work in interior design, Jan’s interest in photography and art developed. She uses the computer to digitally enhance her original photography. Her Digital PhotoArt includes unique views of local landscapes, and European and Japanese scenes and architecture.
As an artistic person, she works in mixed-media collage and uses handmade Japanese papers to create eclectic works. She also paints in watercolor and acrylic mediums. Viewing the restrooms at the Santa Clara Gallery will give you a peek into Jan’s love of whimsy and eastern art.
