Kristy McCormac has been drawing and painting all her life. She took her first formal oil painting class at age 10 and held her first solo exhibit at Shriner's Hospital in Los Angeles at age 13. Her work has won awards in various juried art shows.
She enjoys interpreting the world around her through vivid colors and dramatic lighting which evokes an emotional response in herself and others. Specializing in oils and watercolor, her work is often noted for it's realistic style and elegance. She enjoys working in an atmosphere of peace and enjoys imparting that calming sense to others through her work.
Kristy enjoys painting in her studio in Camarillo and recently has started painting en plein air.
