Irena Jablonski

"My figurative paintings are purely impressionist or influenced by the American post-impressionism or just classical realistic. I paint with all I know and all I feel - I paint with my very being", says Jablonski.

Jablonski's painting 'Reading in a White Robe' is featured in the art book How did you paint that? - 100 ways to paint People and Figures published in April 2004 by the International Artist Magazine.

The painting "Mother IV" was reproduced in the Los Angeles Times. Her works also appear regularly in the California Art Institute's Brochure.

In January 2004 CAPSTV Channel 6 in Ventura aired the program Buenaventura Gallery Presents: Irena Jablonski: Human Interest.

An article about Irena Jablonski' artistic profile appeared in the Ventura County Star of November 4th 2005.

Irena Jablonski was the featured artist of the Ventura Harvest Art Walk 2005.

Over the last three years, Jablonski took part in 128 exhibitions, both national and international in scope and received 28 awards: four Best of Show Awards, one Second Best of Show Award, eight First Place Awards, five Second Place Awards, two Third Place Awards and eight Honorable Mention Awards.

Jablonski's favorite subject is portraits from live sitters.
