Orvel Jones won Best of Show for his oil painting titled “Rocky Point.”  Don Fay won 1^st Place for his abstract plein air watercolor titled “Ship to Shore”; Christine Beirne won 2^nd Place for her oil painting titled “Contemplation at the Harbor Village”; Dan LaVigne won 3^rd Place for his watercolor titled “Café View.”  Two Honorable Mentions were chosen: Georgia Scarlott’s “Misty Harbor” and Mel Rhoads’ “Good to Be Back.”

Gallup said he chose “Rocky Point” for Best of Show because of his “brilliant use of color with no real weaknesses in subject selection, composition and value of draftsmanship.”
