Gloria Breuer is a native Californian raised on the ranches of Somis and Moorpark with horses ,cattle and beautiful orchards of oranges, lemons and avocados. inspired by my brother Anthony who is an artist as well.I always wanted to paint my fathers face with an Indian headdress, but never did, I was always too busy. My Indian heritage seems to be calling me now, so I will finish my Indian paintings and move on to other inspiring subjects. I started painting five years ago, just as soon as I retired. Working at Raytheon for thirty two years kept me quite busy. the commute to Goleta was very rough.I have not had any training in art,it is a God given talent and I thank him everyday! I did some pieces on canvas until I saw what the feather gave to me with acrylics, I do Oil painting as well but not as much, I will do some later on. When I am satisfied with what I have done I will move on to more animals and faces and anything that takes me to thatspecial place I go to while painting, I am in another world. Gloria is a member of BuenaVentura Art Association. She exhibits at BuenaVentura Gallery, Harbor Village Gallery, Community Memorial Hospital, and Mount Shasta Gallery in the city of Mount Shasta. I hope you enjoy these paintings as much as I did painting them.
