Every year, the artists of Buenaventura Art Association compete for the opportunity to have a solo show either at the Buenaventura Gallery or the Harbor Village Gallery. An independent juror review portfolios and chooses the solo artists for the year.

In addition to the solo exhibits, Buenaventura Art Association galleries offers special shows -- such as the Merit Award Show, The Open Competition , PhotoVentura, and our Annual Emerging Artists Cup Collegiate Scholarship Competition as well as bimonthly group exhibits.
