My main body of work the last twelve years has been collage. Since they are large (around 37" x 42") they come into being slowly. In my studio I wander through overflowing boxes of things I have collected, familiar objects, items from the streets, things from my friends drawers, last nights dinner bones, dryer lint, newspaper, photos, personal photos and much more.

These things get shuffled and reshuffled and seem to have a life of their own. The placements are intuitive and conscious, at times times and unconscious at others. These items are born again symbolically, revealing new meaning to me.

My inspiration? ....the raising of my consciousness for the future of our planet.
