Plein Air Schedule September 2010
All artists interested in painting or sketching are welcome to join us on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. There is no fee and we welcome artists of all skill levels. Call Chris Weber at (805) 985-1464 or email at art1chris@msn.com for more information.
September 7th - Mc Grath Family Ranch - 1012 West Ventura Blvd. Camarillo - Take Hwy 101 towards Camarillo and exit on Central Ave. Turn right on Ventura Blvd. to ranch on the left.
September 14 - Camp Comfort Park - 11969 N. Creek Rd. - Ojai - Take Hwy 101 to Hwy 33 to Ojai. Just after Villanova Rd. and before the Ojai Valley Inn turn right on Hermosa Rd. Go to end and turn right and then an immediate left into entrance and parking. There is a $2.00 fee to park.
September 21 - La Jolla Canyon Park - PCH - Take Hwy 1 south past Mugu Rock to La Jolla Canyon park on your left about 2 1/2 miles from the rock. Park outside entrance and walk in or pay fee of about $10.00 and park inside.
September 28 - Grants Park - Ventura - Take Hwy 101 north to California St. exit and turn right to end at Ventura City Hall. Go left on Poli St. and follow sign to Grant park going around the bend to Ferro St. and turn right. At end turn left to meet at cross parking lot.

Please note the earlier meeting time of 8:00 AM and the necessity of an RSVP for our Limoneira Ranch site on October 26th.
October 5 - Libby Park - Ojai - Take HWY 101 N to Ojai HWY 33 to HWY 150 to Ojai. Go to the center of town and Libbey Park is across the street from the arcade shops. Meet near the fountain.
October 12 - Mc Grath Pumpkin Patch - 5156 Knoll Rd. - Ventura - Take Hwy 101 N and exit at Victoria. Turn left and go under frwy. and turn right on Valentine Rd. Go about 1/2 mile to Knoll Rd. and turn left. Go a short distance to Knoll Rd. and turn right to parking.
October 19 - Seabridge Marina - Corner of Wooley Rd. and Victoria in Oxnard - Take HWY 101 N to Victoria exit, turn left and go about 7 miles to Wooley Rd. Turn right into shopping center parking lot just past Wooley and look for fountain to the left of The Coffee Bean. If you walk down the ramp to the left of the fountain you will see a park and lawn where we can set up to paint with marina and bridge views. There are also walkways to the right of the fountain to other views.
October 26 - Limoneira Ranch - 1141 Cummings Rd. Santa Paula - This is a RSVP site only meeting at 8:00 AM for a maximum of 20 artists. Please RSVP to Chris Weber at art1chris@msn.com or 985-1464. We will be caravanning to the site from the ranch office so please be on time. Take HWY 126 to Santa Paula and exit at Briggs Rd. Turn left onto S Briggs Rd. to W Telegraph Rd. Turn left on W Telegraph Rd. to Cummings Rd. and turn right. Look for stone office building on right and park there and wait for escort to site.
