Bep Hogen-Esch was born in the Netherlands where she attended the Hendrick de Keyser Art School in Amsterdam for 4 years.
After coming to the U.S. she received a teaching credential in art and worked for the Los Angeles School district in their gerontology department, teaching in retirement and convalescent homes.
Bep has received many awards from numerous one woman and group shows. Her paintings have found homes in the United States, Australia, Japan, Germany and the Netherlands.
In 1990 she began to experiment more with clay, found it to be the love of her artistic life and has given demonstrations and workshops in sculpting for various Southern California and Arizona art groups
