Barbara enjoyed a 40-year career in animation. She worked in the Ink and Paint and Animation Check departments of Hanna-Barbera Studios. Favorite shows included The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, and The Smurfs. Barbara concluded her Animation Checking career at the Walt Disney Feature Animation Studio in Burbank, CA. Her screen credits include The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, and Tarzan.
Barbara now lives at the Channel Islands Harbor. Since retiring in 2004, she is free to pursue her passion-watercolor. She studies with Cathy Quiel in Santa Barbara and loves to paint! Her works reflect many of her favorite things including animals, travel, and anything nautical.
A member of the Santa Barbara Art Association and the Buenaventura Art Association, she also recently joined the founding four women artists to become the fifth in The Ojai Group.
